Galen’s on Hwy. 431 in New Hope is your north of the river destination for delicious seafood, steaks, chicken and pasta.
Galen’s is locally owned and operated by Steve Turner. Steve has spent the past 38 years in the restaurant business as chef and manager for some of the biggest name restaurants in North Alabama.
Galen’s serves a full breakfast and lunch seven days a week, with evening dining other than Sunday.
Breakfast features home made from scratch biscuits, sawmill gravy, center-cut country ham, pancakes, chocolate chip & blueberry pancakes, omelets, & French toast.
Daily specials offer a choice of three entrees and three sides with cornbread or roll. You can substitute home-made cobbler as a sides.
Appetizers include hot wings, fried pickles & mushrooms, shrimp dip and more.
What Galen’s is really known for is Steve’s fresh filet steaks and ribeyes cut in house.Fresh fish and seafood: catfish and mahi mahi grilled, fried or blackened. Hand breaded shrimp, bacon wrapped shrimp or the cheesy shrimp and grits.
Galen’s chicken tenders are always fresh, never frozen and they’re hand breaded in Steve’s special breading.
